Kehillah Wellness is rooted in the meaning of its name: kehillah, a weaving of hearts and souls, an intentional community where no one is meant to heal alone. This organization exists to support people living with addiction, anxiety, loneliness, and disconnection by restoring right relationship, to the body, to self, to others, and to the living world that holds us. Through somatic psychotherapy, psychedelic integration, ritual, creative expression, and relational care, this organization offers a harbor after long storms. Here, shame softens into acceptance, coping strategies are met with compassion, and the nervous system is gently guided back toward safety and belonging. I believe healing happens not through force or fixing, but through presence, rhythm, and attuned connection, when breath slows, the heart steadies, and the body remembers it is not alone.
I envision Kehillah Wellness as a sanctuary built not of stone, but of relationship, a place where people and the other-than-human world gathers in mutual responsibility, compassion, and care. Guided by a biocentric and somatic understanding of healing, I honor the power of shared practices, art, song, meditation, movement, and ritual, to regulate the nervous system, invite play, and restore trust in the body’s innate wisdom.
Like wildflowers pushing through cracks in concrete, I believe humans are designed to grow even in inhospitable conditions when supported by community.
As we tend connection within ourselves, with one another, and with the other-than-human world, we participate in the reciprocal healing of our communities and the earth, remembering that when we act on behalf of life, life moves toward us in return.
