Individual and Couples Therapy

Mental wellness is not something we achieve alone. It unfolds in relationship—with our bodies, our histories, the people we love, and the communities that hold us. At Kehillah Wellness, psychotherapy is an invitation to return to yourself with curiosity, compassion, and the support of an attuned therapeutic relationship. The therapy I offer reflects my belief that healing is not about becoming someone new, but remembering who you have always been beneath stress, trauma, overwhelm, and the adaptations that once helped you survive.
I offer trauma-informed, somatically oriented psychotherapy for individuals and couples seeking deeper connection with themselves and one another. Whether you are navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, relationship challenges, addiction, life transitions, or the lingering effects of trauma, therapy provides a place to slow down, listen inward, and cultivate new ways of relating to yourself and the world.

My Approach

My work is rooted in the understanding that symptoms are not signs of brokenness—they are intelligent adaptations shaped by the nervous system in response to lived experience. Anxiety, perfectionism, overworking, emotional reactivity, disconnection, or difficulty resting often represent the body's best attempt to create safety. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I ask, "What has your nervous system learned, and what does it need now?"
Together we explore patterns with compassion instead of judgment, allowing insight to emerge not only through conversation but through the wisdom of the body itself. Drawing from somatic psychology, attachment theory, relational psychotherapy, mindfulness, and Eastern contemplative traditions, our work may include:
~Developing awareness of nervous system states and patterns
~Learning to regulate stress without abandoning yourself
~Exploring emotions through embodied awareness rather than analysis alone
~Reconnecting with intuition, creativity, and authentic choice
~Understanding how past experiences continue to shape present relationships
~Building greater resilience, flexibility, and self-trust
My goal is not to teach you how to cope with life by pushing harder, but to help you create a life that no longer requires constant survival.

Specialties

  • Anxiety and Overwhelm
Many people I work with have spent years living in a state of constant activation—holding everything together, caring for everyone else, and measuring their worth by productivity. Over time, the nervous system can forget what safety feels like.
Together we work to understand the patterns beneath anxiety, soften perfectionism and self-criticism, and restore the capacity for rest, presence, and joy. Therapy becomes a place where your body can begin to trust that it no longer has to remain on high alert.
  • ADHD Living with ADHD often means navigating a world designed for different nervous systems. Many adults carry years of internalized shame from being labeled "too much," "too scattered," or "not enough."
My approach honors ADHD as a unique way of experiencing and engaging with the world rather than something to be fixed. Together we explore practical supports while cultivating self-understanding, nervous system regulation, and compassion for the adaptations that have helped you survive. Therapy focuses on building sustainable rhythms that work with your brain instead of against it.
  • Trauma
Trauma lives not only in memory but in the body. It can shape how we experience connection, trust, safety, and ourselves long after difficult experiences have passed.Healing does not require reliving every painful moment. Instead, we move at the pace of your nervous system, building capacity for safety, presence, and choice. By gently reconnecting with sensations, emotions, and the body's innate intelligence, we create opportunities for healing that feel grounded rather than overwhelming.
  • Addiction & Recovery My work is deeply informed by both professional training and lived experience. I understand recovery as an ongoing relationship with ourselves rather than adherence to any single model.
Whether you are questioning your relationship with substances, exploring harm reduction, navigating long-term recovery, or seeking freedom from compulsive behaviors, therapy offers a compassionate space free from shame or rigid expectations. I believe healing grows through dignity, choice, belonging, and authentic connection.
